Is Colleen Zenk Staying As Aunt Jordan?

We figured we hadn’t seen the last of The Young and the Restless’ delightfully wicked Aunt Jordan when Claire turned on her and the Newmans sent her scrambling for the air ducts. For one thing, Colleen Zenk’s appearance was too big a surprise to just be a flash in the pan. And Aunt Jordan dropped far too big of a bomb with Claire/Eve to disappear without answering our questions.

Then there was the proof we unearthed that seemed to really point towards her popping up in Genoa City! You can check that out with the link above. But now, we’ve heard it straight from Zenk herself when she chatted with Alan Locher for The Locher Room.

While she hasn’t been on daytime since As the World Turns went off the air, she has been doing theater down in Florida. She’s had a blast jumping back into daytime, though she said the hardest part about it wasn’t anything like learning lines, but “the stamina of putting on those five inch heels again after spending all your time in flip flops in Florida.”

Fortunately, a couple weeks in the wardrobe department got her more comfortable boots — which means Zenk will be sticking around for a bit! In fact, when Locher brought up that final shot of Aunt Jordan in the vent and asked if that meant we’d be getting more from her, Zenk gave an enthusiastic reply.

“There’s a lot more to come,” she confirmed. “There’s a lot more to come! You gotta stay tuned. Aunt Jordan is gonna take you for a ride.”

Whether or not she’s still filming wasn’t clear, but Zenk couldn’t stop singing the praises of Young & Restless. “It was so much fun,” she told Locher. “I mean, you won’t believe what’s coming up. Oops! I didn’t say anything.”

Hey, we barely believed our eyes when we saw Zenk on our screens, let alone when she told us that Claire was supposedly Victoria and Cole’s dead daughter, Eve. So if there are even more twists and surprises coming up, we say bring ’em on!
